CHRISTINE CHANG
Event planner and founder of Live.Love.Create Events. I started this company over a decade ago and what I thought was just a passion project turned into a career over night. A little fun fact about me is that I’m classically trained in painting and figure drawing and have a double major in fine and media arts. I love using events as my blank canvas to create and design the best version of your wedding vision. I approach every event as an art piece and can’t wait to share my masterpiece ideas with you!
MARI NGUYEN
Detailed-oriented and lover of all things planning, I’ve had the pleasure of working in events for over 10 years! From fundraising galas to romantic weddings, I enjoy every aspect of the planning process and is an avid Excel-nerd. On my days off, I love visiting museums and drinking boba milk tea with cheese foam. I earned my Bachelors of Arts in English and Fine Art from the University of California, Irvine.
SHARON SU
I am a wife to an amazing husband, a mother to a 1 yr old beautiful baby boy and a 10 yr old fur baby. I am currently working full time from home as a production manager for young contemporary apparel and have been in the fashion industry for over 12 years. Additionally, I am also a planner for Live.Love.Create Events and handle mainly dohl and paebaek. And because I enjoy being a busy body, I decided to open my own printed apparel wear at the end of 2022. Even with a busy lifestyle, I always prioritize my family and LOVE watching my son grow everyday.
IRMA SOETIKNO
As a Visual Communication and Apparel Merchandising major, I have a love for creativity. So how did I get into wedding planning? I believe it's in my blood. It all started in College. I was the appointed event planner for the student association where I was recognized by the Indonesian Consulate in Los Angeles. I was asked to join the event planning committee and plan the annual Indonesian sports tournament for all University students in California. Then after planning my own wedding, I wanted to share my creativity and love for organizing with other couples. So in 2004 I started planning and designing weddings and loving every single moment.
SHANNON HUANG
I’m an event planner at Live.Love.Create Events. My passion lies in bringing connection, joy, and meaning to my community. With a background in events management, fundraising, and communications, I have worked in the non-profit sector for 15 years and am currently a manager at Ryman Arts. I am also a founding board member of Education is Forever and volunteers with Seniors Fight Back. Aside from my work in the non-profit world, I’ve worked at a wine chemistry lab and completed a harvest internship at Robert Mondavi Winery. In the midst of the pandemic, I founded the soul edit, a soulful home decor and art store focused on helping others find everyday joy in their lives. When not dreaming/working on any of my projects, you can find me dancing randomly, reading in a hammock at a park, hugging trees (literally), becoming a runner, exploring the nooks of LA, or in the comfort of my loved ones.
YOOMEE HA
I am an LA native and nonprofit worker. I’m most passionate about creating impactful experiences that bring people together. At Live.Love.Create Events, I specialize in dohl parties and corporate events. When I’m not working, you can find me exploring LA one coffee shop at a time or in search of good eats throughout the city.
CITLALIE “CITI” GALLEGOS
I was born and raised in (East Hollywood to be precise, HA!) Los Angeles. First born and of proud Mexican heritage with over 10 years of event planning. I have worked in all aspects of the industry ranging from corporate, entertainment, to social events. My passion for culture, events, art and education has led me to serve in the non-profit organizations sectors and hotels. Aside from being an event planner with Live.Love.Create Events, I am currently an event manager at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures.
JOYCE CHANG
I am a social media manager and content creator for Live.Love.Create Events. I graduated from San Jose State University and I majored in advertising with an emphasis in creative execution. I am passionate about using visual design as a medium for a purpose and message with creative strategy as the foundation. When I’m not scraping my brain for new TikTok and instagram ideas, I love to explore coffee shops and neighborhoods all over LA. I am enthusiastic about all things content creation and am excited to show Live.Love. Create Events in a new light with stellar social media content!
